Every child is a seed waiting to sprout. The humanistic value of art and the empowering force of science provide the fertile soil that nurtures the future. Against this vision, the MoCA Shanghai SEED Project was created.
The seed symbolizes hope, growth, and continuity. It represents children flourishing under the nourishment of art and science, while also embodying the spark of creativity that fuels humanity’s timeless pursuit of beauty and wisdom.
The ArtSci Creative Course is built around three progressive modules: XR immersive experiences – Aesthetics classes – Creative workshops. Together, they create a journey where art, aesthetics, and science education intertwine step by step.
The themed curriculum covers a wide spectrum—from classic literature to cutting-edge technology and historical civilizations. Children move from virtual exploration to real-world reflection, deepening their understanding through hands-on creation. Gradually, they expand their perception, imagination, and expressive ability.
The course is designed for diverse age groups, from children to adults. Participants experience the fusion of art and science in an immersive setting, discovering the joy of creativity and opening the door to inspiration through both play and practice.
At the conclusion of the MoCA Shanghai SEED Project – ArtSci Creative Course, MoCA will host a “Planting the Genes of Art & Science” graduation ceremony. Each participant will receive an official certificate issued by MoCA Shanghai, marking their journey into the world of art and science.
We believe this certificate will not only document a meaningful experience, but also serve as a valuable asset on participants’ future academic and professional paths.
