MoCA Creative Salon - Source of Design Inspiration

Fashion designers are not only those who just sit in front of the desk and to draw beautiful fashion designs. They need to research a certain subject, source of cloth material, so to extend to a series of design linked closely to each other. A good designer should not only know the specific characteristic of each cloth material and the effect reached by using these material, but also the craftsmanship structure of the clothes. These are all crucial to a fashion designer. When extending a design, a designer also has to consider taste of customers, different style, different fashion season and district uniqueness. Fashion designer is only one of the varies professions in the fashion industry.
The lecture will show how a fashion designer will accomplish a series of designs, where his inspiration comes in the topic design and the professional skills that a fashion designer need to have.
Lecturer: Zhou Liang
Zhou Liang, graduated from Shanghai Art and Design Academy, Paris International Fashion Art Academy and Effie College of Fashion Designers respectively, in October, 2006, set up the "Z Gallery" advanced fashion studio and made his debut at the Shui On "Chuangzhi Tiandi". Zhou is now a design Supervisor of "Chuangyi Tang Clothes Co. Ltd." - "VINCENT ZHOU"Advanced Fashion Design Studio.
